Verkamp's store is located just east of Hopi House, at the other end of the parking lot, along the rim trail.
It is open from 8 AM to 8 PM daily.
Verkamp's native American arts and gift store was established by John Verkamp Sr., in 1906... 13 years before Grand Canyon was designated as a National Park. John's son and daughter, Jack and Peggy, and Jack's son, Mike , managed the store from 1936 until the present. Today, other family members are continuing the tradition of this family owned business.
