Top of Devils Corkscrew. In the sun for a few minutes. Beautiful morning - quiet, peaceful. Going to be warm. No breeze at all. Five minute rest.

Indian Garden. Very quiet, not a soul around. Only the birds and a leaky faucet for company.

Off again. Spent half an hour talking with other hikers. Ran into Ranger Marty on his way down to Indian Garden post.

Mile-and-a-half resthouse. Talk with SAR volunteer until 10:10.

Reached Coconino.

Back on the rim. Go take shower, try to call Robin and then go get lunch.

13:00 - Grand Canyon Village

Start drive down to Phoenix.

17:00 - Phoenix

Get to Phoenix, check into hotel and go get Mexican food for dinner. Happy Cinco de Mayo.
